Course Overview

Running Fitness Assessment

Most runners spend their time working on the running they can see—pace, distance, stride, cadence, shoes, mileage, training plans, leg day dilemmas, cardio machines, and cross training. Yet every run is ultimately created by the athlete behind it.

The AMP Advantage Running Fitness Assessment helps identify mobility limitations, movement restrictions, flexibility impairments, stability concerns, and running fitness opportunities that may influence how your body supports stride mechanics, gait quality, propulsion, balance, posture, and overall running performance.

Using AEFA Fitness’s AMP Advantage methodology, assessment findings are translated into understandable running fitness information that helps reveal the athlete behind the run.

These findings provide valuable insight into movement opportunities that influence mobility, stability, movement quality, hip drive, posterior-chain activation, ankle mechanics, lower-chain control, trunk stabilization, stride efficiency, and overall running fitness development, helping you better understand how your body supports running performance.

Included : Running Fitness Assessment, Observations, AEFA Fitness Interpretations, Functional & Running Implications

Best For : Runners seeking insight into their running fitness before investing additional time in mileage, shoes, coaching, race preparation, or performance goals.

Your profile information is used by AEFA Fitness to assign the appropriate assessment session, and your assessment results help determine your improvement opportunities.

2. Receive Your Assessment Invitation

Your profile email will receive an invitation with instructions and a direct link to complete your assigned assessment.

3. Complete Your 10‑Minute Assessment Anywhere

Perform the assessment in about 10 minutes wearing comfortable gym clothes, using your phone or tablet at home, in your favorite gym, or with one of our trainers. Follow the guided prompts to complete mobility, stability, and running‑specific movement tests using your device’s camera.

4. Review, Interpretation & Next Steps

After your assessment is submitted, an AEFA trainer reviews your movement results and compiles your findings into a clear summary with interpretations and running‑specific implications. Based on your selected level, you may receive further corrective direction, a self‑guided action plan, or a trainer‑guided program built directly from your assessment profile.
